Yamba - River Glen

The new Master Planned Residential Community is located at Maclean in the Yamba Region of the fabulous Northern Rivers of New South Wales. River Glen is a Proiect that will set a new standard in residential living in the beautiful Yamba Region – the “New Byron Bay” of Northern New South Wales.

Maclean is the connector and gateway to coastal living. Located within the Yamba region of the Clarence Valley, and part of the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, River Glen is easily accessible by plane, by train and by car with only an hours’ drive North to Ballina Airport or South to Coffs Harbour Airport. The main train station is a mere 30 minutes drive to Grafton, and if it’s a scenic drive you’re after, River Glen is approximately two kilometres from the M1 Motorway and an easy three-hour drive from the well-known Northern metropolis of Brisbane and just over an hours drive from the glitter strip of the Gold Coast. It’s about a three-hour drive from the far South Coastal suburb of Port Macquarie or approximately five hours from Sydney. When it comes to coastal living, River Glen will not disappoint being 10 minutes drive to the booming, well known Yamba region now referred to as the “New Byron Bay”. The beaches stretch 80 kilometres’ and include spectacular surfing hot spots in the neighbouring beaches of Iluka, Brooms Head and the infamous Angourie, known to the surfing community as one of the best ‘point breaks’ in all of Australia.

Along with all the benefits of city amenities at your doorstep, River Glen is an ideal location where outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy the coastal life and the riverside life. White water rafting, canoeing or exploring the local gorge are all within a short driving distance from River Glen. River Glen is surrounded by an abundance of local parks for you to enjoy, a public pontoon with barbeque facilities, and endless beaches, and waterways.

While the riverside village of Maclean is well known for its Scottish heritage, the Clarence Valley also has a strong Aboriginal cultural background where the Bundjalung, Gumbaynggirr and Yaegl nations are recognised and acknowledged as the traditional landowners. Residents’ will be lucky enough to spend an afternoon viewing traditional dot art and artefacts on display throughout local art galleries.

The Yamba region has been tipped to be the next Byron Bay after a 35 per cent price growth in the last year with annual price growth of 6.1 per cent for each of the last 10 years. Despite billions in infrastructure spending in the Northern Rivers region, and the shift in growth, the Yamba region medium price is still more appealing and affordable than the surrounding coastal regions of the Northern Rivers. River Glen is perfectly positioned in this growth corridor of the Yamba region.

Living at River Glen in the Yamba region is unique, and adventurous with a sense of calm and serenity. Being surrounded by national parks and rivers promises that the region can never be physically overdeveloped. Only the timeless riverside living combined with a coastal lifestyle can offer the life balance that is at the forefront of those making the sea change.
